Microneedling

Microneedling stimulates collagen production to remodel the skin in depth: acne scars, enlarged pores and laxity.

Microneedling is a collagen induction technique that involves creating controlled micro-perforations in the skin using a medical device fitted with fine needles. These micro-lesions trigger a natural healing response from the skin.

This stimulation leads to increased production of collagen and elastin, progressively remodelling the skin in depth. Microneedling is particularly effective for treating acne scars, tightening enlarged pores and improving mild to moderate skin laxity.

The session lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes, including numbing cream. Redness similar to mild sunburn generally persists for 24 to 48 hours. Wearing make-up is not recommended during this period.

Microneedling can be combined with the application of active serums (vitamin C, hyaluronic acid) or polynucleotides to enhance results. This combination is particularly recommended for deep scars.

A course of 3 to 4 sessions spaced one month apart is generally advised for visible and lasting results. Dr. Bouzid adapts the depth of action according to the areas to treat and the sensitivity of each patient.
