Vascular laser / tattoo removal

Vascular laser is a technique that specifically targets haemoglobin in dilated blood vessels, to progressively resorb them without damaging surrounding skin. It is mainly used to treat rosacea, varicosities and diffuse redness.

Rosacea, very common on the Côte d'Azur due to sun exposure, manifests as small red visible vessels on the cheeks, nose and chin. Vascular laser effectively reduces them in a few sessions.

Tattoo removal laser (Q-switched) uses ultra-short light pulses to fragment tattoo pigments into fine particles, naturally eliminated by the immune system. Not all colours respond equally: black and blue are the most reactive.

For vascular treatment, 2 to 4 sessions are generally required depending on the extent of redness. For tattoo removal, the number of sessions depends on the size, colour and age of the tattoo — on average 6 to 10 sessions.
