Laser hair removal

Progressive and lasting hair reduction, adapted to all skin types thanks to the latest generation laser technology.

Medical laser hair removal is based on the principle of selective photothermolysis: the laser targets the melanin contained in the hair to destroy the hair bulb, without damaging surrounding tissues.

Thanks to the latest generation laser technologies available at the practice, this treatment is now adapted to all skin types, including darker and mixed skin tones, which could not be treated by older equipment.

The number of sessions required varies according to the area treated and the hair growth cycle: on average 6 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. Each session targets hairs in the active growth phase (anagen), hence the need for multiple passes.

The sensation felt is often described as a slight tingling or quick 'snap'. A cooling gel is applied for maximum comfort. No social downtime is required.

Dr. Bouzid's practice in Cannes offers a tailored protocol for each area of the body (face, underarms, bikini line, legs, back) with regular monitoring to adjust parameters throughout the sessions.
